As Luai said, it is wheelchair accessible. But if the wheelchair user does not have good upper body and arm strength, a motor or a pusher is advisable. I'm 64 with MS and I managed the upper grotto gardens manually, but had to take a few rest breaks. Fortunately, even in summer, there are plenty of beautiful, shady resting spots up there.
