I would like to know why this establishment is anti children? My daughter went to get a haircut and was told to leave because her children were with her. How unprofessional and disrespectful! What a horrific experience for her and the children.

Mary Lou, Thank you for your comment. I would direct you to what our valued customera said (Madelyn, Marcia, and MBNB below). They know our policies well. We are a family business and we are very child friendly. On the clinic floor you will find sharp objects and chemicals and if someone is getting a service their children are not being supervised and it is strictly for the childs safety that we do this. I'm sorry that your daughter did not have a good experience with us. I hope she will try us again at another time. Barbara Climaldi/Owner

This school is not anti children, they just don't allow children back on the floor with their parent or guardian. Only the client is allowed back on the floor, the only exception is for anyone other than the client on the floor is caregivers. It also depends on the children's ages because most parents wouldn't allow their children under 5/6 to wait in the waiting room alone while they get their service done. They do have station where the parents can sit and see their children, but like I said it depends on age and if the parent wants to do that or not.

If you want to save money. These are students and are learning.. children cant be watched or supervised when you receive services. I have been coming here for 5 years.. I have watched moms bring small children to nail salons and it is very hard on the children to sit still for 3 hours.😟

I think its far from anti children but I get it, the thing is that is a school and the students are actively learning. The parents are not liscensed hairstylist and sometimes can distract the student by just being there. Its not easy for a new student already nervous and trying to concentrate. Plus it's usually pretty busy with students and clients and trays and etc. I'm sorry your daughter had a bad experience I have lots of friends that take their kids in and haven't had a problem.
