I see that the park closes at 8pm. Will they allow people to be in the park on New Year's Eve to see the fireworks activities going off around the county?...This 1 special day?

Doubtful. Too many people would go there and there isn't enough room to park for that big of an event.

Even if the gates are closed, you can park on the road before the gates and walk up the road a ways. Don't go all the way to the top, just stop along the way. The view is still great.

Not too sure ill ask since im frequently there......
