A popular (busy) park with trails and a play area. The ground cover of the play area is polished bits of wood, which make for nice padding.

Good place on Discovery Lake in San Marcos.. Children love to play. Space for making fun with friends, enjoying outing and having a small party with family. Lake side view is wonderful with many ducks wandering all over the lake.

Enjoy walking around the lake. Trail is an easy walk on level ground, fishing with license, dock, benches, lots of wildlife. Native plants, clean, well maintained. There are other trails that are moderate to difficult, great for jogging and running. Park area has green space, nice large play structures, and a water feature for the kids. Parking in lot and street parking. A jewel of a park in San Marcos, CA.

One of our favorite parks. My kids love the fountain, the lake, the trail... What's not to love. Occasionally, you might even find a familiar character rushing around. Today, it was Mando. A few weeks ago it was Black Widow.
