My actual favorite hike in north county is Discovery Lake to Double Peak. Beautiful views. Plenty of space to sit and watch the butterflies play and birds soar. Peaceful just about every time I've been up here. Clean. Love.

Double Peak means so much to me! I grew up in San Marcos and it overlooks the world! I have done the hike to the top a ton of times and I also proposed to my now fiancé on the best day ever!

I have hiked here and drove here. Both are worth coming ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ If you want to see Gods goodness come and see the sunrise 🌄 bring warm clothes , blanket and a hot coffee ☕️ or tea 🍵. And sit an watch the sun ☀️ rise wow 🤩 It’s breath taking ! Sunsets are beautiful too ! Hiking 🥾 here is also a good workout ! Bring water and come ready to sweat and feel amazing 🤩 Enjoy and thank me later !

Challenging hike if you start at Discovery Lake with 2 miles mostly up hill 🤩🤩🤩 Nice and clean restroom. Beautiful view of the ocean and the mountains!!!! Usually not crowded but well trafficked. Bikes allowed 🚵♀️🚵♀️🚵♀️

Bringle terrace park in vista has bourse shoe pits but not double peak
It's very simple. Just follow Doble Peak Drive up to the top.
Doubtful. Too many people would go there and there isn't enough room to park for that big of an event.
