So my wife took her cat to the humane society in Carlsbad. It's supposed to be a no kill shelter,but she just got an email stating that if her cat doesn't get adopted she might be put down. How true is this? That's the only That's

They told me also that they are a no kill shelter. We had a cat that because of a newborn in the family and another family member who is very sick...we needed a new home for kitty. With pictures and descriptions sent out to family and friends, we ended up with three different homes to chose from. From a home to a shelter...tough on any animal. Best to find the new home yourself.

Always best to ask before surrendering your pet.
