I take line dancing lessons every week. Miss Carol is the best teacher. All of the people working there are all nice. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Place was closed. No sign as to hours or where the actual entrance is located. UPDATE. Place is now open. Staff is fantastic. Helpful and very friendly. Only had one meal there and it was yummy. Dont really know anyone yet but hope to get to speak to more people soon.

What a gem this is! Escondido's senior center is located here. They offer so many fun classes for next to nothing ($10 to hear professionals or get college level material!). There's a pool room. They have dances! They offer lunch. There's even a Thrift Store. Great place for seniors. Good place to volunteer to help others too.

Depending on which Day of the week, service's change.. contact them directly.. Also 211 may be able to assist you.. or Rancho Bernardo Senior Services ( very nice folks) can definitely point you in the right direction---

I think they do but you can also have them done through Interfaith at the corner of Washington and Quince.
The food bank comes every fourth Monday of the month. Unless there is a holiday. If you go in the community center, you can go to the front counter and, ask for the calendar for the Food Bank for this year.
There is no fee to join. You do need to fill out a paper that you get at the front counter. If you are going to participate in the nutrition program there is a second form to fill out. If you participate in the nutrition program you can have the van service pick you up and drop you off at home, if you don't drive.

Lunch service is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Monday - Friday. To make a reservation please call (760)839-4803 by noon the day before you wish to dine, or Friday if you would like to eat on Monday.
