My grandson work and saved his money to buy a car, after two months the transmission went out. I spoke with the owner and he stated there was nothing that they could do for him. My question is how would you feel if this was your family? L

I had to spend two thousand dollars on repairs on a 20 year old car that I purchased from the auction house. It cost me almost two months of disability checks to get my car repaired. I love my convertible!!! I don't blame the auction house for having to get my car repaired. It's an auction house what did you expect the owner to do? The people at the auction house I found to be honest, very professional and do the very best job they can. They aren't a car repair shop. If you want a car that doesn't need additional $$$ for repairs and is trouble free -- go buy a new one for $30,000 You ask the question -- how would you feel if this was your family as if the auction house intentionally set out to harm your family. I think you (and your grandson) need to change your perspective. Instead of complaining that he had to spend additional monies to get the transmission repaired, be thankful that he had the smarts to purchase a used car at an auction house -- one that he can afford.

The transmission was not repaired, it could not be fixed. That car was supposed to be his transportation to and from college. a used car that could not be fixed.
