We went last weekend and although there are signs saying day use is open, the day use area with the bathroom and picnic area is closed and blocked with barriers. Road is open though and you can find a spot off the side of the road to get to the river. Camping is not open and is blocked off as well.

No. I was there 8th August Saturday & toilets are CLOSED AND SIGNS POSTED EVERY WHERE SAY CLOSED. Altho I saw people loitering round all over all toilets are closed and no camping. If you are a COMPLETELY OFF-GRID & SELF SUFFICIENT CAMPER WITH UR OWN SUPPLIES & WATER TOO of course there are plenty shaded parking spots avail & people trying 2 park in them anyway so GET THERE EARLY EARLY BIRDEE... ITS FIRST COME FIRST SERVED IF UR GOAL IS SECLUDED SHADE...ITS THERE BUT NO INTERNET ACCESS OR PHONE IN THERE I found plenty of secluded car park places in shaded areas along the road nowhere in camp (pay zone) going into that campground and the road that leads out & turns into a dusty & busy dirt road with lots of traffic rolling past every second so I looked up the GPS & INTERNET & PHONE IS COMPLETELY DOWN IN THERE UNUSE- ABLE. If u like Camping with Internet & phone use signals, go elsewhere cos in there, it's a TOTAL DEAD ZONE. SATURDAY 8TH AUGUST 2020 DAY USE ONLY STRICTLY EN
