Actually lie's are absolutely not ok. Thats why so many have restraining orders that are fictional. I however suggest that you be truthful. Lies hurt and in the long run cause more lies are not worth it. They are a wonderful organization and my kids and have stayed on 2 different occasions.
Must live with your significant other who is abusing you no other abuse situation fit the criteria if it's somebody you don't live with that's abusing you you won't qualify if it's her father you won't qualify has to be your significant other that you live with so lie if you have to
Yes please do not lie about your situation. There are many woman out there going through abuse and need help like I did. OSP has helped me out tremendously but I have seen other woman lie about their situation and take up resources that could go to woman who are in danger amd have no ither place to go. You also should be drug and alcohol free if you are struggling with either of those then they can refer you to other places that can help.
