This is very unlikely. Typically they want you to apply immediately, whether fired or not. Benefits are based on a Quarterly algorithm for the Previous 18 months. If you have been pout of work for 8 weeks, it may be possible. If you have been out of work for 12 weeks, your possibility of obtaining Unemployment Compensation are about 0%.
