If you have not tested yet, you need to go elsewhere first to take the driving test. (There are a lot of driving schools in the area and you must take your test through one of them ) after you have taken your test, an appointment at the DOL is required at this time. During certain circumstances we may allow walk in appointments on certain days, but those are not always promised. It depends if we have any cancellations or no shows. It's not a guarantee.
You will have to have an appointment. We had to check everyday for 2 weeks before we got an appointment and then it was still 30 days out before that appointment.
I believe that they are allowing people to go in but they are screening before you are allowed to enter
