Repeated problem with WM not picking up our garbage. When I call to complain, they refuse to send a truck to pick it up. I pay but they don’t provide the service!

As a user for the past 20 years, in general I find their services appropriate and on time. A $50 charge for dumping smaller items at the transfer station it's kinda hefty. One thing I would really like to know is, how much of all the allowable plastic materials we place in the blue recycling bin is actually being recycled.

Driver refused to pick up my dumpster because there was an inch and a 1/2 of snow on the road. To get it picked up the next day I have to pay twice as much. His excuse was that the street was not plowed. Very poor quality of service by this company.

I’ve been using the transfer station for 20 years. The service is much improved. It used to feel like they tried to find as many reasons as they could to reject a load. I use my 4 free dumps for yard waste as a city resident but only for branches and clippings. Regular loads are usually not a problem but I’ve learned what to take and what not to take.

You just have to have current trash service. You just give your driver's license and they can look you up
Waste Management doesn't but Stemilt does. Look up Stemilt Organic Recycling Center.
The Transfer Station is currently closed due to a fire. They are waiting on a custom made part.
No they do not. There is a metal recycling facility 1000 ft South of WM transfer station... But assuredly you must provide certification that the refrigerant has been removed by qualified personnel.
If you can throw sofas. Better to fill the truck for the 50 dollars you pay low a ton of lbs.
