I was here constantly as a kid! Last I heard, it was private. What's it looking like these days? We just want to come out for a day of fun. Are there fees and such?

It is opened to the public. They have a web site with the fees on it. It is still nice but could be better. I love it.

Yes there is a fee now but there is a day fee and a camping fee and they are not that much

They are open to the public. You can rent tent spaces and the cabins. I'm not sure if you can go for just a day. I do know that its $5.00 a car if you know someone camping out there.
