Why don't you give them a quick phone call and ask. They specialize in edible plants... tomatoes and fruit berries.... And they can probably give you a local reference for asparagus roots. The next best excellent reference is the Oregon State University Extension Service. Check out the website "Ask an Expert" at the OSU Extension Service.
