Pasco County Animal Control does get puppies but they do go quickly. I was there two weeks ago and was very fortunate to get a puppy that had been there about 2 hours. However they do have A LOT of other 1-2 year old dogs that are available.
Shelter
You can check at Pasco Shelter, but be warned puppies go extremely quickly. Otherwise google rescues for puppies, especially if you have a breed in mind🍀
Aspca
There are two shelters in Pasco. Use your Google search and it will tell you where the one is Port Richey. If not go to the shelter in Tampa.
