It can cost up to 25.00. if this is your first time surrendering they may not charge but u need to call. They r not open on Mondays. U will need to hold the dog till Tuesday if u can or try to find a home yourself. If u want to avoid the cost go out to hilsbough s web site and they partner with Petco to help u find a new owner. It is a contract u and the new owner signs

I wouldnt think it would cost anything but make a phone call tomorrow and ask before making the trip.
