Most of what I tend to find online regarding Job Corps lends heavy to the ideal of a “prison”. I know, however, that with any situation in life- it is what you make of it. If you are COMPLETELY focused- is it really all that bad?

It's not, if you cause problems you will lose things to do and cause enough problems and you're out of there. Its basically what you make it

No it really isn't bad. As long as you focus on your trade and why you are attending it is a great program and has helped countless people.

I went to Tongue point Job Corps from October 1998 through May 2000. I really enjoyed it there. I would recommend to anyone that wants to go there. I am sure that it has changed since I when there. I love the experience that I had there.
