I stopped in here on my way through Astoria to pick out a new book and I was very impressed with the huge selection of books! I could never go bored in a place like that. Also the gal who was working was super welcoming and helpful. Definitely my new favorite bookstore!

I love Godfather’s Books. I used to live up the street as a kid and my mom used to work there before we moved to Washington. I love the atmosphere of a local bookstore, their drinks are always super yummy and I love the workers. As a kid my favorite thing to do was hang out with Charlie and some of the locals that were always getting drinks while my mom worked. As a kid I loved the children’s book section and smelling all the incense and now as an adult I can appreciate everything else inside. Thanks for the great memories Charlie! I can’t wait to go back for another cup of coffee!

Nice selection of books. Definitely something for all reading tastes. Shopkeeper able to keep up a cellphone conversation the whole time I was in the store and even when ringing me up at the register.

Our store has a maximum capacity that fluctuates with the risk-level set by the county. At the lowest level our maximum capacity is about 8 adults (not including staff). All book-browsing customers are asked to keep their masks over their nose and mouth while in the store. We provide hand sanitizer for all customers through a touch-less distributor by our front door, and have another available at our checkout stand. For our indoor coffee bar, which is open so long as the county allows indoor dining - has a maximum seating of 2 at this time. We ask that coffee customers (including those holding their beverages while browsing books) please keep their masks on between sips to keep other customers and our staff safe. Staff are on a sanitation routine to keep high-traffic surfaces sanitized multiple times throughout the day, in addition to the normal health-codes for hand-washing and clean workspaces in our coffee bar.
