You have to have a pass to get into the event viewing area at elkmont. However, if you search hard enough on Google you can find a viewing area nearby because the fireflies go where they want. Also helps if you have a friend who smokes, inhaling a cigarette: the red embers make them start up. So you could have your own viewing show with the fireflies if you're in an area with enough dense fireflies. But has to be during "firefly season"
Shucks idk what is exactly being asked but 2 weeks ago we were there and saw them abundantly. Was nice. Side note though is stay away from Marietta Johnson cabins. She will find a reason to keep your deposit even if it means fabricating a lie to do so. Our only negative from our vacation. Enjoy the beauties of TN and GOD BLESS
You must have a lottery pass during the height of the season. Period. But now that it is over, anyone may go. Unfortunately, you will not see the high numbers and the beautiful show.
No there not there is fireflies to c but not like the bunch u would like to c now we viewed them without a pass but we didn't go when they had the big event for them either
