Ask friends, family & co-worker's if they or someone they know would be interested in taking the dog. Also, if you are able to care for the dog, let the SPCA know, plus if the dog does not have a tag, the SPCA can check the dog for a micro-chip. If the dog has a micro-chip, then the dog can be reunited with it's family. I also believe that the Petsmart vet can also check for the chip.
Make appointment if you want to act as owner surrender. Otherwise only Pinellas county animal services will take strays.
