I agree you should go there to see what they have because adoptions happen often and I also recommend if you have any other pets bring them to see if they are compatible. Adoption is a serious commitment involving all family members. The SPCA wants to ensure that they are placing the adoption to the right situations. Remember many of these precious animals may have been through some traumatic events and all they need is TLC and some time to adjust to their new home. The SPCA also provides as much history, health records and their own observations of the pets behavior while at the kennel.
