I am going to be bringing my dog for euthanasia. Are we allowed to be there with our pet during the process? Also, he can't walk, is the parking lot far from the entrance?

Parking isn't far.and they have much compassion for animals. Can't imagine why they would not allow to spend your last moments with your pet

You can be with your dog at the vet on park two stoplights after crossing the causeway inland. Any one that won't let you hold your animal during this process has no heart. SPCA is probably doing something with them illegal and not putting to sleep. Don't take it to anyone that won't let you hold it. Be better to give it something at home and take it on across into it's new journey. Hugggs I know it's the hardest thing to do and you should be able to spend it's last moment's holding it

He was by my side for 13 years, i never once left him in a strange place and wasn't about to start. I ended up taking him to a very nice vet and held him through the entire process. I miss him.

I would not recommend going any where that they don't let you stay with your pet & get the ashes. Otherwise you can not be sure what happens.

There are vets that come to your home for euthanasia, they won't allow you to be with your pet while they go to the Rainbow Bridge 😔

Unless something has changed, you may NOT be with your pet during euthanasia due to liability. This could have changed since I was there .
