We had to have our dog put down because he was sick. Will the shelter take the cans of food leftover?

Cans are closed never opened and they do take other donations as well so that would be very nice of you and sorry to hear about your loss of dog

I'm quite sure. They except donations. Sorry about your dog, just recently had my 18 yr old cat put down due to cancer. :(
