Yes. but it would help them out if you try to find a home for it first. Maybe on Craigslist and ask a lot of questions to make sure it's going to a good home. And charge a fee to ensure it goes to a good home. Returning the dog is the last-ditch effort but yes they will take the dog back. 🙂
