He'll find a home in no time the center is always full of pet lovers. The younger they are the better chance at adopting they have
Juan Feliciano is correct, however, that is for most dogs except pitties. They are often never adopted and euthanized because of their stigma. My first choice is bully rescues. Call them and tell them you have to surrender your pittie. They may not sound helpful, but they will take note that a pittie is going to a shelter and watch over it. DO NOT give a pittie away to strangers!! Their motives are unclear. It could wind up at the shelter anyway, but the risk is that the pittie may get abused, tortured, abandoned or meet a cruel death in the wrong hands. Unfortunately, its often the case. Advertise, yes, but take the time to thoroughly screen potential owners. Check out their home,( yes, most will understand). Know your dog. Is it aggressive to children, other dogs, cats, or with food? Take that to mind when visiting a home. This is a lot to take in, but your pittie is worth it! They need us to look out for them in this ugly world. They ARE the underdog! Good luck!

If a dog is reviewed to be euthanized, how many days after that do they actually euthanize it?
