Less than 1/4 mile directly accross from Ainsworth Park same road in is the fishery, a older private camping area which has boat ramp for launching into Columbia river. Good fishing there as well have to pay to park but plenty river acess. Water is very swift there have seen kite board surfers there never seen kyacker.
