I'm not sure about banjos, but the folks were friendly and helpful when I needed a loan. Give them a call and ask! I like this business and would recommend them.
For musical equipment try northwest pawn or sharkies. Miracle pawn specializes in guns and hunting/tactical gear. They SO have a small selection of other items like movies/games/electronics/musical equipment but really mostly a "military surplus" type shop. Still worth calling to ask as thier staff is friendly and they have very fair prices.
