$4 for adults $3 for children. They don't really enforce much but in my opinion you should pay the fee to keep the place as nice as it is.
Yes..well worth the minimal fee! Enjoy the hiking! I did!
HONESTY GIVES YOU A CLEAR CONSCIENCE. IT'S WORTH THE PRICE. ENJOY YOUR HIKE.
If you plan on hiking often get a yearly pass for $35 and you are supporting the foundation Educational program "Leave No Chils inside." Also it takes many many volunteers to keep the 40 miles of trails clear and cleaned up.
As a docent @ Sana Rosa Plateau, we do our best to ensure visitors get a really enjoyable experience. The cost is correct, and it is a fee not a donation as some think. The fees are used to maintain the infrastructure such as the trails, keeping broken trees and debris off the trails, benches to sit and enjoy the views, the Macado Adobe house, and surrounding area, and the visitor center. The experience is worth the low price, and you will want to come back, bring friends and family. We also have an area set aside for mountain biking, dogs on a leash, and horseback riding( if you have a horse) . Stop by the Visitor center, chat w/ the friendly staff, and see what they recommend!!
They ask for a fee. You can pay in visitor center with card. Or cash in red drop box. It's on your honor. But worth every penny. Trails are well maintained and staff is helpful. $4 per adult $3 per child.
