3 years since the fire. There is still evidence but there is so much natural recovery. The Foundation up there is so Fantastic and Knowledgeable. Everyone should visit. Bring a picnic lunch and cold water. Great place to wear your kids out!

This is a great place to unwind and observe nature. It is a great place to see wildlife. In November 2020, I was walking along the Coyote Trail and saw a coyote; it appeared to be hunting for food. I took photographs and video, and then left.

It's great that the Sylvan Meadow area is accessible again after the 2019 fire. We did a December hike through the dry but beautiful meadow. I am looking forward to hike after some rainy days.

Very informative staff at the center. Good hiking trails. I do think they should charge a little less, a fee per car or a lower per person fee.

Yes, but the louder ones (cicadas) are typically found in the desert regions.
Concerts start at 6:30 the Art show starts at 5:30. I don't know about Bus service I try and show up by 5 pm and get parking spot at Visitor Center.
$4 for adults $3 for children. They don't really enforce much but in my opinion you should pay the fee to keep the place as nice as it is.
