I walked by a lady and her dog today. her dog seemed excited about seeing me and my smaller dog walk by. Her dog didn’t look aggressive whatsoever, just excited. saw her pull her dog back and then smacked her dog hard. What do I do?

I mean was it abuse or scolding only you saw the details and locationshould have said please dont abuse your dog its a misdemeanor

If u c her do it agsin, call animal rescue. They will deal with it. I would also tell her thst is abuse and she needs to stop.

I saw a woman come out of Petsmart with her dog on a leash..yanked the dog hard & lifted it by the leash into a shopping cart. I called the police (St. Petersburg) & they came out right away, went to talk to the lady as she had gone back into the store, probably wrote her a citation..not sure..they didn't need my input at that point. I was glad they came out but not sure what would happen now since the mayor cut back the police force by 50%!! 😡
