How long does it take to get acquainted with controls for virtual games there? I never played any and was wondering if they require alot of skill?

Avalon Theaters & Wunderland has the DarkrideXD. It's an immersive 4-d experience. It uses 3D glasses, 4 HD projectors, a good sized curved screen and motion seating to draw you into the experience. Each of our 7 movies lasts about 5 minutes. Standard price is $4.25 per person per ride. It seats up to 6 people at a time and riders have a light gun to interact with the movie. If you're looking for Hologate, it is available at the Gresham location. Hologate is a true VR experience with full headset video and 360° free movement. It does take some getting used to, but it isn't difficult. Our staff provides basic training before each session. Games can have up to 4 players and last about 5 minutes. Hologate is also $4.25/game.

The Avalon on Belmont only has one real virtual reality game and it costs about $4 per person cash to play for about 1 minute.
