We recently adopted a wonderful rescue named Clarence. The service was amazing and we couldn't be happier with our little boy. Thank you!

We absolutely love NW Neighborhood Vet! I’ve been taking my 3-year old dog Archie to them since he was a puppy and I’ve only had positive experiences with all of the vets and other staff members. He typically sees Dr. McCormack who is so wonderful and caring. Highly recommend!!

My girl Penny needed emergency help for an injured paw. They got us in quickly and got her all fixed up. They take great care here to make your pet feel comfortable and at-ease.

New to Portland and got our bunny, Bindi, spayed here. Prices were very reasonable for the location. They took great care of our fur baby. Took their time in the initial exam to make sure she was healthy and good to go with surgery. Was very happy with how much knowledge they have with rabbits! I’ve been to some vets in the past who sadly have little to no experience with small mammals. Thank you for taking such great care of her! We will definitely be taking her and our other pets here in the future!

Hi and thanks for your question. While we don't do routine titers on vacations for all cases, we do them with some frequency when they are medically appropriate.

How much is it to neuter a Male rat? Also how soon should I get them fixed? I have a female living with him so, don't want accidental pregnancy.

Generally, male laboratory rats will reach sexual maturity at approximately 10-12weeks of age, although females may have their first estrus as early as 8-9 weeks of age. For pricing, call the vet directly
