Thor is the best sewing machine technician around. You can totally trust him for the best price and the best quality repair. I drive 1.75 hours each way from the Portland area for all my machine services specifically to have him work on them. It's worth it.
I would take it in. Tore is very good with repairs, on new and old machines.
Yes,we can take a look. Usually takes a cleaning to fix most things ($85), the oil inside may have evaporated and the grease solidifies over time. We do free estimates.
