I made it to the falls in 20 minutes but took it super slow on the way back. 1 and a half hours total.
We are located .9 of a mile below Willamette Falls. It is about a 1.8 mile paddle total and takes about one hour round trip at a moderate pace (1.5 hrs. if you stop in prominent spots). There is a boating deadline about 100 yards below the falls (from Dance floor concrete structure on east side to corner of ODFW building on the west side) and PGE doesn't want anyone paddling up towards their power plant (under the bridge). The best historic remnants are visible on the east side below black rock- crushing wheels and indian rock carvings. Lots of industrial history! Enjoy- its worth the trip.
1.5 hours is the length of their tour. If you do it yourself and paddle non stop about an hour
Great. Thank-you.
