I’m absolutely heartbroken and disgusted with the lack of compassion and care I received while visiting the Oregon city vet clinic yesterday. All they cared about was getting paid. My cat was really sick and wasn’t well, I told the receptionist who took more than 5 minutes to even acknowledge me when I walked into the clinic, which is tiny, that it was an emergency situation. I waited over 3.5 hours to finally be seen and when I did the vet said this cat is dying, which you could clearly see she was not well. The vet began telling me the costs of the Euthanasia which I happily agreed to because I didn’t want her to suffer. I was clearly upset and hurting because the thought of losing my fur child that I loved very much was painful. While I held my dying cat in my arms sobbing a young girl came in and asked for payment before they performed the procedure. I was absolutely mortified with the lack of compassion this vet had for me and my animal during this heartbreaking time.

This is THE place to take your pet when they need help. I love that they are walk-in and no frills. They put the time/effort/money into the care of animals instead of making it "look" like they care. No fancy stuff here...they put hands and eyes on your pet - old school examination and observation, the way it should be. They're not busy hammering away on a keyboard while you're trying to keep your pet on the exam table hoping they're listening to you while they type. Pretty large team of people for a small office too! There is a feeling of calm, yet they act with a sense of urgency. It is absolutely affordable. I love that this is a back-to-basics clinic. I wish they all operated this way.

HORRIBLE!! In the last few years they've gone downhill and don't seem to care. I called them with an emergency of my pet that I'd taken there for 16 years. He was at end of life and seizing. They told me to come right in, I went in with my dying dog they told me I was 8 patients behind go wait in the car they'd let me know when it was time. Needless to say my dog became so bad while waiting, I had to come home and then called Lap of Love. My dog was put down that day. That's not how you treat pets and clients that you've seen their entire life. Worst customer service in town excluding Holly. I have called them twice requesting all records of my pets they refuse to send. This place is nothing but rude and cold now.

Love the walk in service which is so convenient since all the other clinic gives appointments for 4 weeks out. A knowledgeable staff and friendly. Not 5 star because i had to sit in the parking lots with my dog for 3 hours till I get to my turn.

Yes it's about a mile away from the hospital. The hospital is as your heading up the hill in Oregon city. The vets is at the bottom of the hill across the street from where the Safeway used to get years ago. The vets office sits right in the corner so it's easy to miss.
I have no idea. Call and ask.
I believe they charge $52 for a checkup. If you get a shot like a rabies vaccine they will have your visit for free though
Sorry but we do not do cattle work at this time
Exam is free with vaccine such as dhlpp for dog or fvr for your cat. Each vaccine has a different price. Call for price on what is due for you pet. Exam without a vaccine is $55.
