I use an app called "over drive" you connect right to your Albany online account. Then search for books and add them to your on line book shelf. I listen to them through audio but you can download for kindle to read also

The Albany li rare uses an app called Overdrive. Once you have that installed, you sign in with your card and go through the set up process. You can check out 6 ebooks at a time. You may also put up to 6 books on hold at a time. When a book on hold becomes available, it will automatically be checked out to you. You can set your default "check out duration" to be 7, 14 or 21 days. At the end of that time period, it will be automatically returned. You can return ebooks early manually. The wonderful reference librarian/staff assisted me with the initial set up since I'm somewhat technologically challenged.

I get mine from Amazon. I don't know if the library does that. You'd have to call them.
