Hello, I am in Portland for two months for work and have not had any luck finding a vet for my chihuahua. My pup is lethargic, trembling, and not eating his normal intake of food. Also, constipated. Do you have availability to bring him in?

Dove Lewis is an er so they are not based by appointments. It does sound like your baby needs to be seen. They are more than happy to have you come in for them to take initial vitals to try to access how urgently he needs to be seen. Be prepared for long waits for triage and to be evaluated by a doctor. The waits for a doctor to evaluate are anywhere for right away to 12-24 hours. To even days too be seen. This is all dependent on the triage evaluation and how critical you pet seems. They are very busy so they kindly ask for patience.

Dove Lewis does have high wait times but you can call and talk with a vet tech and they will let you know whether or not your pup needs emergency services or not. When you call select the option to speak to someone before you bring your Chihuahua in.
