after much care, I feel it is time for my dog to be out of pain and for me to let go. Can the euthanasia be taken care of at home or do I have to take him in to the surgery?

Our community members have given you great, and spot on advice. We are sorry to hear that you are having to make that tough choice with your pet. We do not offer an at home euthanasia service, but we do prioritize those walk-ins in our clinic. You'll be in our thoughts. ~OVC

We used Orchards Veterinary Clinic when that time came for our dog. The doctors and staff were wonderful. Very compassionate. Made a very hard time easier.

You can check with the clinic for their recommendation, there are at-home options for your sweet pet. We used Katie at Fireside Home Veterinary Care. She came to my home when our sweet old man, Chance, 13 yr old bulldog, was at the end of a hard battle with cancer. She was incredible, professional and so kind! I highly recommend! Her website is very informative, also, if you want to research first.

I believe u will have to see the vet... that's what I had to do a couple years ago when my dog had to be put to sleep... my heart is with u during this difficult time

Most likely one will have to go to the vet to do, so.
