No, they do not take recycling. Far West Recycling in Hillsboro is a good place to use, I believe it's like $5 per car load. So the broken down boxes should hopefully fit in one load. DO NOT use a stores trash or recycling bins without asking, as it is illegal to do so. The stores have to pay for their trash and recycling, so they don't want anyone just throwing stuff in there.

If they're in good shape there's always the Craigslist free stuff page... I've made all sorts of crazy stuff disappear by putting it for free out there...

No. You can't just drop them off but I am sure if you ask them to use their recycling bin you probably can. Also if you go to places like Safeway and WinCo where they recycle boxes a lot I bet they have a recycling bin outside that you could probably use.
