I would not recommend Crown Memorial Center for your loved one's final journey. Poor communication. No one called to let the family know what happened to my aunt. When Crown was contacted, it took several messages in order for someone to call the family back. They stated they did have my aunt and assured us that someone was “watching” her whatever that means. When a supervisor called, the supervisor joked about the miscommunication issues. Crown made an already difficult situation worse. If you are a person of color or you care about your loved one, do not use Crown Memorial Center. Response to your note: Erika I tried your direct line and the mailbox is full and can no longer take messages. The frustration continues.

Positively abmismal. My father's remains were delivered to the Tualatin, Oregon location on June 20. My mother was told that it would take a week to a week and a half to process his remains. She never heard back about pick up. She called numerous times only to be told "someone will call you back" and no one did because "all managers were busy." July 19, I called and demanded to speak to someone who could provide me with answers. I spoke with Vincent Jones who told me he would investigate and get back to me in 15 minutes. Nearly an hour later, I had to call back and continue to jump through hoops to try and understand where my father's remains were. I also couldn't leave a voice message for Vincent as his voicemail was completely filled. As of 7/23, one still cannot leave him a message. Vincent finally called me back, apologized and said there was a staffing mix up about who was going to handle the cremation service. So, my father had essentially been sitting in storage for nearly a month. A MONTH! Vincent assured me that he would call my mother, apologize and arranged to have his remains hand delivered July 22 after 5 p.m. This was an opportunity to right this egregious wrong. Did that happen? No. My mother, who has her own health issues, is now left to dirve 40 minutes one-way to pick up her husband's remains that she should have had weeks ago. My family gave Crown Memorial an opprotunity to correct this situation and they failed.

Ugh.. I went here in 2016 when my Mom passed and they did an amazing job. The staff was very helpful and caring, keept me updated, it was a big relief during this difficult time. So in need of the service and having had such caring experience before, chose them again. What a turn around, It has been a stressful situation in an already difficult time. Impatient, no call backs, no calls letting you know that things won't be done when promised. I have no idea whats changed or going on there but the customer is left to feel unimportant and more like a burden and lost as to what's going on with their loved one.

I was tempted to give 5 stars but I will be honest, I had a "problem" at our viewing that could never be undone. With that being said Vincent did his best to make it right but as I said, it's something that can't be undone and in the industry they are in its a very sensitive time for any family. We have just lost our 15 year old daughter and this moment is and forever will be burned into our memories. They were also very slow at returning any phone calls and some times took over a week to call me back. I understand that finding employees is difficult and I tried my best to be understanding but again, sensitive time and not knowing about our baby girl was painful. This is why I gave 4 stars and not 5. I appreciate his effort to make it right.

Ryan Branin was very easy going with dealings with my really emotional family's that are grieving!! I know myself was really having a difficult time keeping it together. Only dealt with the one person whole time. He was very patient. We took several hours. Felt comfortable even with all thats considered. We had a little interstate dealings, so things took a little more time . I was in no rush. Sincerely, R . T .
