Yes it is real they will contact the dmv to request the Suspension but they over harass and that’s not legal
My daughter is CONSTANTLY being threatened by this company. By a man named Dustin. She pays the agreed on amount every month without fail and they STILL harass her. This collection agency is ridiculous. I'm unaware how they can request a license suspension when the bill is being paid on & not once late. They are also NOT a state agency, so I'm not sure how they can request a suspension.
Same here this guy name Dustin keeps calling me saying I have to pay an insurance of 5k or my license will be suspended.. I need to kno if this is real or not.

Yes, wouldn't play around with this - that is real. You have 30 days (from the date of the letter requesting the suspension) to pay in full in most states before the request for suspension goes into processing by the state. This varies, though - it is only 15 days in some states. Look it up for whatever state your incident occurred in.
