I have a very old cat less then 5 pounds I would say and he is refusing to eat or drink. I am trying to find out how much it would be to put him down. I am planning on calling tomorrow morning but wanted to see if I could get answers here.

It cost me 75. To have my 40lb dog down. Then of 115. To have him cremated alone and brought home. Don't ever want to do that again. I cried all the way home to Packwood. I'm so sorry for your loss hun. But they were very kind.

Best to call the clinic

Agreed with the others. Call and get prices. Best option is to take your cat in, remember all vets euthanize by weight. I'm sorry to hear you will be losing a cherished pet. 😭

The best would be during the call. There are options to take in account. Do you want to take home for burial? Or want the ashes from cremation? Or Something in between.

I have not done it for over 20 years but it was a cat and it was about $250.I do not know but I had one put to sleep many years ago at the animal hospital on the actual Jackson highway. She had been mauled by a pack of dogs as I remember it was almost $300. I would get out your phone book and call around as I know of 3 places. They will tell you.
