You cannot do that at Fort Stevens Historical Area. However if you go south a little bit to Fort Stevens State Park campground there is an area in there that has beach access for vehicles. Head towards the Peter Iredale shipwreck and you'll run right into it.

I'd ask the Campground host, as I have no idea about clamming. Get great maps at the visitor center.

There is no such beach access from Fort Stevens.

No,but certain times you can drive your car on the beach.long beach you can drive on the beach all the time.

No you can't. Unless you are handicapped and have done all the paperwork though state parks.
