Warrenton Dog Park

This place has two small areas, one for mixed sized and one for small dogs - so that part is great! You could also see that someone cares about the place - another plus. But, it seems as though you have to bring water because there were jugs of water sitting in the small dog yard. We had actually gone there because it looked on the map as though there could be beach availability to dogs, but it isn't really even accessible to humans. They're are some nice trails if you want to take your pup on a good long walk, including a paved shoreline path.

We love taking our dogs here. There is a space for the small dogs who aren't comfortable with playing with bigger dogs. It also connects to the paved trail beside the river.

This park is definitely on the plus side of four stars. It is nicely fenced oh, it has a lot of room to run, it has trees and up hills and down Hills. I don't know if it's a Oregon thing or not but there seem to be a lot of biological landmines out along the fence rail? There is one picnic table and a couple different benches some of them were in the shade. But overall the dog park has a lot to offer your puppy

Beautiful place. Lots of friendly faces and waggling puppy dogs. Several fenced in areas and a walking trails that leads to a peer overseeing the Columbia river with a beautiful view of both the megler and warrenton bridge and straight center, Astoria. There happened to be some Elk on both sides of the trail, they let me get some great shots.
