Why can't you talk to a sales rep when calling the Cascade Station store?

There are are very busy all the times I have been there with my wife.

Shoes are made by a designer and manufactured to reproduce in bulk. Each country have their own size charts, each design effects how a particular shoe can be worn comfortably by some individuals, not everyone. It is not a perfect science. To phone a store to inquire if a specific style, color and size is available does not guarantee it will fit your unique shape. Sales staff would have to spend a lot of hours checking stock instead of personally serving happy customers in the store. Let's face it, you will need to physically go to the store to try on the shoes if they have your size, that might not even fit you. You would have an opportunity to see other shoes you might like that you wouldn't know exist if you only call the store. DSW has a large selection of shoes to browse through and be able to wear before you buy. You can't do that over the phone.
