Why don't they accept vertical ID? The only reason I can think of is they don't trust there staff with basic math.

Or it's because vertical ID doesn't expire when you turn 21 in Washington and people like to give their old IDs to younger people. They're protecting their own business and cannabis license. They can handle a cash register but can't do basic math, that makes sense.

Many bars and some grocery stores don't accept vert IDs. Why take the chance?
