There are 1 or 2 minor trails on the campgrounds. The driveways are measured for distance walks. Near by is the the Rails to Trails path. It goes from Concrete to Sedro-Woolley (more or less). There are many Cascades National Park and Range trails within reasonable driving distance. There is also a public transit bus. It is walking distance from the campgrounds and can take you into Concrete, as far as Marblemount or all the way to Sedro-Woolley via Hamilton and Lyman for $1 each way or $2 a day. (Rural bus schedule varries from day to day and is available online) Also, if you like Pokemon Go and want to get in some steps. There are 2 Poke Gyms and 3 Poke Stops on Campgrounds and 1 more Pokestop walking distance away, near the bus stop and by the Grandy Creek gas station.
The trails were pretty tame. That could be good or bad
There are a couple that go up the small mountain with terrific views, don't have to leave TT to access.
Yes, mainly for the kids to explore or the Adults to get away.
