Medications are given that will alleviate the withdrawal symptoms. A variety of medications are used based on patient's symptoms. At this time medications do not include Suboxone or Methadone, however, a patient can be referred to those services after completing detox. Yes, I realize they have a detox facility. That is why I asked how exactly did they manage withdraw symptoms. Thr reason for this question was because it was stated on this forum (that I do believe was created for the purpose of answering questions) that this facility does not give Suboxone for symptoms. So I wanted to know whay the approach was. I called multiple times and nobody at the intake desk amswred the phone. So......I dexided to try this forum. Considering the fact I cannot get a straight amswer from anyone and instead am given a corporate non-answer that was probably pulled off of a sheet somewhere.....this just isn't the place for me. I'll leave it at that.
Seadrunar (Owner) did address the concern about managing withdrawl symptoms, more specifically about their policy on the use of Suboxone and Methadone. In their response, they stated: "At this time, medications do not include Suboxone or Methadone, however, a patient can be referred to those services after completing detox." The exact policy is likely lengthier and more detailed than Seadrunar (Owner) was able to quickly provide in a timely fashion in this forum-like setting. I understood what was posted as: Methadone and Suboxone are not currently allowed in their medically-assistant Detox program (length varies individually, but typically 3-5 days). However, and someone please correct me if I've interpretted information incorrectly; it sounds like Suboxone and Methadone may be allowed as part of their Inpatient program, and clients may be referred to those services individually. This information is soley based upon the information Seadrunar (Owner) provided.
