If you live within the City of Kent's jurisdiction, you can either apply with the Kent Police Department or King County Sheriff's Office. Applications are available at Kent PD during business hours. A CPL (Concealed Pistol License) is sometimes called a gun permit, CWP (concealed weapon permit) or CCW (concealed carry weapon permit). If you live in Kent you can get your CPL at the police department. You do need to call and get an appointment for fingerprinting.
